Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (at least 15cm from walls and ceilings) on a solid, level surface.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate on wall, ensuring it is level. Hang indoor unit securely on the mounting plate.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on a stable, level platform with proper vibration isolation and drainage.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using flare connections. Ensure all connections are airtight.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect power cables to appropriate terminals. Follow local electrical codes and use proper circuit protection.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation, cooling/heating performance, and drainage.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a certified HVAC technician. Improper installation can cause injury, poor performance, and void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear outdoor unit area
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting Tighten all screws, clear debris, check mounting stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan, stagnant water Clean filters and drain pan, run fan mode to dry unit
Remote not working Battery issue, signal obstruction, sensor problem Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor

Error Codes

  • E01: Indoor unit temperature sensor error - Check sensor connection
  • E03: Drain pump error - Check drain pump and float switch
  • E04: Communication error - Check wiring between indoor/outdoor units
  • E07: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan motor and capacitor
  • E09: High pressure protection - Check for blocked condenser or refrigerant overcharge
