Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Torque wrench
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge set
  • Flaring tool
  • Pipe cutter
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Select Installation Location: Choose a location with sufficient structural support, away from heat sources, and with proper clearance for airflow and maintenance.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is level. Hang indoor unit on plate.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper vibration isolation pads. Ensure minimum clearance requirements are met.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units using proper flaring techniques. Ensure connections are airtight.
  5. Electrical Connections: Connect power cables according to wiring diagram. Ensure proper grounding and circuit breaker installation.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump. Charge with specified amount of R32 refrigerant.
  7. Test Operation: Test all functions including cooling, heating, fan speeds, and remote control operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. Improper installation may cause injury, equipment damage, or void warranty.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not starting Power failure, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak, outdoor unit obstructed Clean filters, clear obstructions, check for leaks, clear area around outdoor unit
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator Clear drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting Tighten all screws, clean fan blades, check mounting stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean/replace filters, clean drain pan and use anti-mold treatment
Remote not working Batteries dead, signal blocked, sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor

Error Codes

  • E01: Indoor unit PCB error - Power cycle unit, contact service if persists
  • E03: Refrigerant leak detected - Check for leaks, contact technician
  • E04: Communication error between units - Check wiring connections
  • E07: Outdoor fan motor error - Check fan operation and connections
  • E09: High pressure protection - Clean outdoor unit, check refrigerant charge
  • E11: Temperature sensor error - Check/replace indoor temperature sensor
