Installation Guide

  • Screwdriver set

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the weight of the unit and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstacles that might interfere with installation.
  3. Install Support Bracket: For larger units, install the support bracket according to manufacturer instructions for added stability.
  4. Position the Unit: Carefully place the air conditioner in the window opening, ensuring it sits level and secure.
  5. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels to fill the window gap and secure them with screws provided.
  6. Seal the Gaps: Use weather stripping or foam insulation to seal any gaps between the unit and window frame to prevent air leaks.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat settings.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people due to the weight of the unit. Ensure proper support to prevent falling hazards.
