Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe cutter
  • Vacuum pump
  • Manifold gauge
  • Torque wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper clearance (minimum 30cm from walls and ceilings) and solid wall structure.
  2. Mount Indoor Unit: Install mounting plate securely on wall, ensuring it is perfectly level using a spirit level.
  3. Install Outdoor Unit: Place outdoor unit on stable, level surface with proper ventilation clearance (minimum 50cm on all sides).
  4. Connect Refrigerant Pipes: Connect copper pipes between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation and no kinks.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump, then charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  7. Test Run: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper operation, cooling, and heating performance.
Warning: Installation must be performed by certified HVAC technicians only. DIY installation voids warranty and may be dangerous.

Energy-saving operation that optimizes performance for reduced power consumption

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air conditioner won't start Power issue, remote control batteries dead, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, replace remote batteries, reset circuit breaker
Poor cooling/heating Dirty filters, blocked airflow, incorrect temperature setting Clean filters, clear obstructions, set appropriate temperature
Water leaking indoors Clogged drain pipe, improper installation, frozen evaporator Clean drain pipe, check installation angle, defrost unit
Unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration from mounting Tighten all screws, clear debris, check mounting stability
Foul odors Dirty filters, mold growth in drain pan Clean filters, use anti-bacterial treatment, clean drain system
Remote control not working Dead batteries, signal obstruction, remote sensor issue Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check indoor unit sensor
