Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location on an exterior wall with proper clearance from obstructions and adequate structural support.
- Install Wall Mounting Plate: Securely mount the wall plate using provided screws, ensuring it is perfectly level.
- Drill Wall Hole: Drill a 3-inch diameter hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and electrical wiring.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the indoor and outdoor units with copper refrigerant lines, ensuring proper insulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 60Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with proper downward slope to ensure condensate water drainage.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air and moisture from refrigerant lines using a vacuum pump before releasing refrigerant charge.
- Test Operation: Power on the system and test all functions including cooling, heating, and fan modes.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power outage, circuit breaker tripped, remote control batteries dead | Check power supply, reset circuit breaker, replace remote batteries |
| Poor cooling/heating | Dirty filters, blocked airflow, refrigerant leak | Clean filters, clear obstructions, contact technician for refrigerant check |
| Water dripping indoors | Clogged drain pipe, improper installation slope | Clear drain pipe, ensure proper downward slope of drain hose |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten mounting screws, clear debris, check installation stability |
| Remote not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, sensor issue | Replace batteries, ensure line of sight, check sensor window |
| Frozen indoor unit | Dirty filters, low refrigerant, fan motor failure | Clean filters, call for service, check fan operation |
