Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstructions from the installation area.
- Install Support Bracket: Secure the metal support bracket to the window sill using provided screws for additional stability.
- Mount Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the window sill, ensuring it sits securely on the support bracket.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening completely.
- Secure Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the unit to the window frame and sill.
- Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around all gaps to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
