Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Support bracket kit

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a window that can support the unit's weight and has access to a dedicated electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and ensure it's level. Remove any obstructions from the installation area.
  3. Install Support Bracket: Secure the metal support bracket to the window sill using provided screws for additional stability.
  4. Mount Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the window sill, ensuring it sits securely on the support bracket.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening completely.
  6. Secure Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the unit to the window frame and sill.
  7. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around all gaps to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two people due to the unit's weight. Ensure proper support to prevent falling hazards.
