Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window that can support the unit's weight, preferably near an electrical outlet.
- Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstructions. Ensure the window opens and closes properly.
- Install Support Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided template.
- Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the mounting brackets, ensuring it's centered and level.
- Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening and secure them in place.
- Secure the Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the air conditioner to the window frame and mounting brackets.
- Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
