Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window that can support the unit's weight, preferably near an electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and remove any obstructions. Ensure the window opens and closes properly.
  3. Install Support Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to the provided template.
  4. Place Air Conditioner: Carefully lift the unit and place it on the mounting brackets, ensuring it's centered and level.
  5. Extend Side Panels: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening and secure them in place.
  6. Secure the Unit: Use the provided screws to secure the air conditioner to the window frame and mounting brackets.
  7. Seal Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  8. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  9. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two adults. Ensure proper support to prevent falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.
