Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit not turning on | Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker | Check power cord connection, adjust thermostat, check circuit breaker |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, blocked airflow, outdoor temperature too high | Clean filter, clear obstructions, understand unit limitations in extreme heat |
| Water leaking inside room | Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked | Ensure unit tilts slightly outward, clear drain holes |
| Loud or unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration | Tighten all screws, clear debris, check installation stability |
| Unit cycles on and off frequently | Dirty filter, thermostat setting, room size too small | Clean filter, adjust thermostat setting, consider room size |
| Ice forming on coils | Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow | Clean filter, contact service technician if problem persists |
