Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit not turning on Power issue, thermostat setting, circuit breaker Check power cord connection, adjust thermostat, check circuit breaker
Poor cooling performance Dirty filter, blocked airflow, outdoor temperature too high Clean filter, clear obstructions, understand unit limitations in extreme heat
Water leaking inside room Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked Ensure unit tilts slightly outward, clear drain holes
Loud or unusual noises Loose parts, debris in fan, vibration Tighten all screws, clear debris, check installation stability
Unit cycles on and off frequently Dirty filter, thermostat setting, room size too small Clean filter, adjust thermostat setting, consider room size
Ice forming on coils Dirty filter, low refrigerant, restricted airflow Clean filter, contact service technician if problem persists
